Everest Base Camp Trek, Nepal

One of the most famous trekking routes in the Himalayas, the trek to Everest Base Camp in Nepal is a 3-week long trek and is quite interesting. It takes you from the DudhKosi River to an area known as Dingboche before reaching the base camp. The imposing Kala Patthar stands tall at 5,545 meter with the gorgeous Mt. Pimori forming the perfect backdrop.

Chadar Frozen River Trek, Ladakh

Known as the Zanskar Trek, the Chadar Frozen Trek in Ladakh is said to be one of the toughest and most beautiful treks across the world. It has now found international fame, all thanks to many films and documentaries covering the same.

During winters, the Zanskar River freezes into a thick blanket of ice with temperatures going down to as low as -25℃.  The trail starts at Chilling and goes till Lingshed. From here, you will get to walk on Chadar and the experience is nothing short of spectacular! The sun rarely reaches the river, but when it does, the whole river turns into a kaleidoscope of glittering colours. Photography lovers should plan a trip around full moon for the most stunning photo-ops!

Rajmachi Trek, Maharashtra

Situated near the twin hills of Khandala and Lonavala, the pretty Rajmachi is a favourite destination perfect for nature trails and trekking. Even though the total elevation of trekking to Rajmachi Forts is just about 826 meter, the distance of the trek is a whopping 18 km stretch and that too one way!

The hill station looks breathtakingly beautiful during the monsoons where the rains add a dash of charm to the entire landscape. Rajmachi is around 5-hour drive from Mumbai, which is also the nearest airport. So, what are you waiting for? The Snowman Trek, Bhutan
